Our Philadelphia SAT instructor has worked as an SAT, GRE & TOEFL tutor for over ten years. She is an experienced Language Arts instructor and has helped develop both writing workshops and literacy programs in many schools. Her patience and enthusiasm make her a sought-after tutor for those students who yearn for success. She is a former Teacher's Institute of Philadelphia fellow as well as a former Philadelphia Writer's Project fellow at the University of Pennsylvania. When not tutoring, she enjoys hiking, gardening and photography.

- abbreviate -- (v) to shorten, abridge
- Most people abbreviate the Standardized Aptitude Test as the SAT.
- compromise -- (v) to settle a dispute by terms agreeable to both sides
