Geneva GMAT Prep Instructor

Our Geneva GMAT instructor is a very experienced tutor of the GMAT exam. A world traveler, He earned his initial degree from the Indian Institute of Management, and then later attended UC Berkeley and then earned his MBA from the INSEAD in Europe.  He scored a very impressive 730 on his GMAT, with a 97% on his Quantitative and a 89% on his Verbal.  Our Geneva GMAT instructor has worked for Manhattan Elite Prep for a number of years and has helped many students achieve  improved scores that propelled them into the MBA programs of their choosing.

Geneva GMAT Teacher & Tutor

Our Geneva GMAT instructor graduated from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand with a bachelor's degree, an honors degree and a master's degree in international politics. With several years of business experience, a GMAT score of 770 (99th percentile), and equally great GRE scores, he is more than well qualified in teaching GMAT preparation courses. He is currently working as a corporate trainer, a GMAT teacher, and an English teacher. Holding a CELTA, Certificate in English Language Teaching, he is able to teach the TOEFL exam as well as general English.

GMAT Verbal Grammar - Idioms with Prepositions - T-W - Geneva

You should use prepositions carefully. Some prepositions are used interchangeably and carelessly. Here are some idioms with prepositions commonly misused:

  • tendency to (not for)
  • tinker with (not at, although this is British English usage)
  • be tolerant of (not to)
  • wait for - to spend time in waiting for someone or something
  • wait on – to serve someone, typically used in a restaurant setting
