Introduction of Business School & MBA Program

As part of the University of Reading, the Henley Business School is one of Europe's largest business schools. It is one of the few schools to have triple-accredited status in the UK, not to mention greater Europe. The full-time MBA program offered at Henley typically spans a twelve-month period.

Globalization

Henley has a diverse faculty and students from over 130 countries. The business experience of both the faculty and students is global and spans all fields of business and public sector functions. In recent years, Henley has had more MBA graduates than any other school in Europe.

Experienced Student Body

Henley Business School offers an MBA program geared toward more experienced applicants. The program focuses exclusively on experienced managers, making it unique to most other business schools. The majority of incoming students have more than ten years of full-time work experience.

Elective Areas

Henley offers a plethora of elective areas for its MBA students, including: International Business, Brand Management, Corporate Finance and Governance, International Real Estate Management, International Human Resources Management, and Enterprise Information Management.

MBA Application Elements - Henley Business School

GMAT Score

The average GMAT score of recently accepted full-time MBA students has been between 500-650.

Work Experience

Applicants are expected to have ten years of postgraduate work experience, with three years of management experience preferred.

Letters of Recommendation

One business reference and one academic reference are required for admissions.

Personal Statement

All applicants are required to complete a personal statement explaining why the Henley MBA program will be beneficial for his or her career objectives. Applicants should also touch on strengths and weaknesses in the personal statement. Additional application essays are only required for individuals who do not attend a "Selection Day".

Interview

A non-mandatory Candidates for the Full-Time and Executive MBA programs must attend a "Selection Day", which includes a mandatory interview with a faculty member. Applicants who cannot attend a "Selection Day" must complete two phone interviews.
