Instituto de Empresa Business School, otherwise known as IE, was founded in 1973 and is based in Madrid, Spain. On average, IE trains about 280 full-time MBA students each year in it's thirteen-month program. IE also offers courses online and has part-time MBA options, in addition to several dual degree programs with Tufts University and MIT.
IE offers extensive courses in Entrepreneurship and Social Responsibility; both of these areas are rapidly growing across the globe.
Ninety percent of students come from outside Spain, which creates a unique feel of global exposure on the main campus in Madrid.
IE has multiple options for students to choose from, including a Full-Time MBA program, a Global MBA, an Executive MBA, a Global Executive MBA, and the IE-Brown Executive MBA program.
The IE Business School also offers a Masters in Management, a Masters in Finance, specialized Doctoral programs, and Executive Education tracks as well.
Candidates may take either the GMAT or the IE specialized admissions test.
Interviews are only required for selected candidates by the Admissions Committee.
Two professional recommendations are required of all applicants.
