IESE offers an 18-month MBA program that tends to be longer and more expensive than most other similar programs in Europe. However, this seems to be part of the appeal that IESE's Barcelona-based MBA program has to prospective students. The longer duration of the program provides students with a chance to build stronger connections and take extra courses.
The IESE MBA program includes a Spanish Immersion program, which prepares students for business in Spanish-speaking countries. A major appeal of the Spanish Immersion program is that students who earn at least a B in two Spanish courses receive a bilingual MBA degree upon graduation.
IESE offers exchange programs with top MBA programs around the world. A few of these business school partnerships include: Columbia, Cornell, UC Berkeley, University of Chicago, University of Virginia, HEC (France), Indian School of Business, and London School of Business.
The average GMAT score of recently admitted full-time MBA students has been around 670.
Interviews are required of all selected MBA candidates.
Two professional letters of recommendation are required as part of the application process.
