Introduction of Business School & MBA Program

The rigor of first year core classes enables students to build a firm foundation for second year when they are given the freedom to tackle and explore areas of interest. It is not required for students to focus in a particular field so students may mold their own academic experience. The Ross School of Business requires all full-time MBA students to take a World Economy course, in addition to a Law & Ethics Course. The first year of study has been designed to expose students to Accounting, Finance, Marketing, and many other areas of business management.

Entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurship is an evolving field of Interest at Ross. Students with goals of starting up their own business can take advantage of the resources offered at the Samuel Zell-Robert H. Lurie Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies.
